An elder statesman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of GLAD TIDINGS (GT) FOODS, Elder Pius Omofuma has congratulated Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki over his recent re-election as Governor of Edo State.

In a statement he issued in Ekpoma, administrative headquarter of Esan West local government area of the state,  Elder Omofuma noted that Obaseki’s victory was a manifestation of the people’s trust and confidence in his leadership.

The GT FOODS boss, however, urged the Governor Obaseki, to rise above partisan consideration and carry along all people, including his opponents, in the task of building the state to an enviable position.

“I urge His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Obaseki to see the fresh mandate given to him as a call to extra duty in the service to his state and an immense opportunity to carry forward the policies and projects initiated during his first term so as to promote the progress and development of Edo State,” Elder Omofuma, posited.

While pledging  his continuous cooperation to the Governor Obaseki’s-led administration, the political leader, however, urged those that lost in the election to accept the results in good fate and cooperate with the winner in the interest of peace, the people and the state.
