The Glory Publishing House turns a new look with her award ceremony and book presentation in honour of Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu, the Deputy Governor of Edo State.
The event which took place last weekend at Solution Event Centre along Siluko Road in Benin City, witnessed life time achievement award, good stewardship award, stewardship leadership award, entrepreneurship leadership ICON award, philanthropist ICON award, excellence in leadership award, and many others.
Many dignitaries who were present at the event included Pastor (Mrs) Helen Ayemere, the General Manager of Solution Microfinace Bank, Hon Uyi Omosiaifo, Rev Dr. Enest Ogawudia, Pastor Aaron Eshigienbe, S.V. Ekhator, Engr Austin Osarentin Osakue, the Managing Director, Edo State Building and Maintenance Agency, Akpebor Destiny, Hon Ojie Eugen Inegbabor, Col. K.O Omonia, Prof. David Izekwe, represented the V.C. of University of Benin, Prof. Lilian Salami.
Other Guest presents were representatives from Hon members of ESHA, Representative from Special adviser on strategy, policy, projects, and performance management, CSO to Godwin Obaseki, CSP William Want, Representative from Barr Gentleman Amegor, MC Sir Godwin Egbert and security personnels.
The event also featured cultural display by Osamede Cultural Theatre group which showcased their different talents to motivate the ceremony.
Pastor Chris Eburu, the book reviewer, acknowledged the author of the book “The Man Philip Shaibu: Portrait of A Loyal Politician And Visionary Leader”, Bishop Designate Dr. Raphael Ayemere for his prolific writings.
He described the book as the narration of a track record of the character who has contributed greatly in politics both at the state and the federal levels.
“His proactive approach to crisis management as the man of the moment and his unforgettable achievement that the book is specifically used to honour him for his outstanding performance in the political arena”, Pastor Eshigienbe stated.
On his part, the Author of the book, Bishop Designate, Dr. Raphael Ayemere, said the success of the book was a product of efforts of several years.
He disclosed that he has written over 74 books with high hopes that many more of his books are soon to hit the book shops.
Dr. Ayemere appreciated all the dignitaries who honoured his invitation and contributed to the successful book launch.
