The Commandant, Nigerian Army School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (NASEME) in Auchi, Edo State, Maj-Gen. Oladele Oluyede Arogundade, on Monday received the Commander of 4th Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Brig-Gen. Emmanuel Oduyebo and his entourage on a familiarization visit to the school.
The Commander of 4 Brigade, told his host that it is customary that on assumption of office he moves round for a familiarization visit to the various Nigerian Army units and formations within the Area Of Responsibility (AOR) to know their challenges as well as to seek for intellectual support from the seasoned school commandant.
In his welcome address, Maj-Gen. Arogundade, who commended his visitors for finding the time to visit him in the office, explained some of the school activities as well as intimated them with the security situation within Auchi and its environs.
He disclosed that the good synergy and collaboration between the school and sister security agencies, has been helpful in tackling some of the major security challenges in the area.
General Arogundade, however expressed confident in the capabilities of the new Commander of 4 Brigade, assuring that he would give him all the necessary support to ensure that he succeeds in office.
Highpoints of the visit was the signing of the visitors’ book and taking of a group photograph, among others.
