A Deputy Director of Nursing Services (DDNS), Deaconess Mrs. Esther Igharo, last week bows out of the official services of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), after 35 years of meritorious service to the federal government.
Before her retirement, Mrs. Esther Igharo who joined the services of the UBTH in 1989, rose through the ranks to become second-in-command in the nursing department of the teaching hospital.
At a sent forth party organised in her honour by her colleagues and friends in the hospital community, Mrs. Igharo was described as a professional nurse whose calibre will be very difficult to get in many years to come.
Mrs. Igharo who was praised to high heavens for her proficiency and dedication to duties, was bombarded with eulogies and precious gifts, during the sent forth party held at the Nurses Event Centre located inside the premises of the UBTH.
Her husband, Rev. Minister Igharo who led family members, friends and well-wishers to celebrate with his heartthrob, described his better half as a virtuous woman who can be depended on, come rain or sunshine.
