Proceedings at Edo State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal, continued today with Petitioner’s witness and Collation Agent for Oredo Local Government Area, Mr. Aigbe Ighodaro Lucky, alleging brazen rigging and outright falsification of results by INEC officials in favour of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate, Monday Okpebholo.
The Tribunal had earlier admitted 45 Agent Duplicate Copies of Result sheets Forms EC8A, CTC of Voters Register marked as Exb. BDB 26-27; CTC of IREV copies of Forms EC8A Exb BDA 27-29; CTC of Bvas Accreditation report Exb BDA1 and BVAS extracts marked as Exb BDC26-28 showing INEC’S incorrect computation of scores in favour of APC in Oredo LGA.
Mr. Aigbe Ighodaro, further told the tribunal that after Polling Unit results had been declared and uploaded on IREV, the 3rd Respondents (INEC) incorrectly collated and computed false results in Forms EC8C(LGA) level for 53 Polling Units across Oredo LGA in favour of APC.
While undergoing cross examination by Counsel to 2nd respondents (Okpebholo), Onyechi Ikpeazu SAN, the witness revealed that Oredo LG collation was not done at the LG collation centre but was hijacked to State Collation Centre and he was prevented from observing the final collation process.
Pressed further, the Witness listed and identified accurately all the affected polling units where the incorrect figures were computed in favour of the APC.
