A 63 year old woman, Mrs Florence Osagioduwa, a few days ago stormed the secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State council to publicly cry out over her missing son whom she identified as Osazee Osagioduwa.

She disclosed that Mr Osazee Osagioduwa is a unit leader in ward 2 in the political arena in the state and pointed out that there had been several assassination attempts on him following his failure to join any of the cult groups that were wooing him to become one of their members to enable him succeed in his political career, a situation she claimed her son rejected.

Mrs Osagioduwa further stated that since the failed mission to join their cult groups, her son had been complaining of threats to his life.

She told newsmen that some suspected thugs who went about searching for his son to harm or kill him, even went as far as attacking his father’s residence on the 17th of February 2025 where his elder brother, Mr. Elvis Osagioduwa who came for visit but not residing in the house and has the same resemblance with his missing son was beaten to stupor, a situation that forced the inhabitants of the neighborhood to scamper for safety.

She expressed worries that her son who is the bread winner of the family, would be targeted by evil people who do not mean well for the society situation she described as worrisome as Mr Osazee but are determined to frustrate her at old age.
