A motor mechanic, Eguaseki Augustine Osazuwa, has appealed to the public for financial support following the birth of his quadruplets at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) on June 2, 2025.
The arrival of the four babies, though a source of joy, has placed a significant financial burden on Osazuwa, who says his current income cannot sustain the enormous responsibility of caring for the newborns.
“I am grateful to God for this miracle, but the financial demands are really telling on me. As a motor mechanic, my income is not enough to handle this situation. I am calling on the government, well-meaning Nigerians, and corporate organisations to assist me because I don’t have money now and I am financially exhausted. The hospital has really been very helpful,” he said.
Osazuwa’s wife is currently receiving medical attention at Ward M2 of UBTH, where both mother and the quadruplets are being closely monitored.
