The Judiciary in Nigeria sacked Chairmen, Vice -Chairmen and Councillors that were elected in a Local Government election that was conducted by the democratically elected government of Rivers State.
The same Judiciary in Nigeria authorised the illegal government of Rivers State to conduct Local Government elections in Rivers State. Judges sworn to uphold the Constitution of Nigeria without fear or favor. Where in the Constitution of Nigeria allows a sole administrator appointed by the president to replace a democratically elected governor?
Under President Tinubu, public institutions in Nigeria and their operators are becoming personal aides of the president and the ruling political party. These jokes are becoming too obvious even for the blind to see. This does not make president Tinubu a strong man or a political tactician as his praise singers would love to describe him. It is simply an abuse of office and ingratitude to Nigerians that elected him to defend the Constitution and Sovereignty of Nigeria. Ingratitude is not only a corrupt act, it is a sin before God.
Nigerians should resolve to determine the outcome of the 2027 general elections. Nigerians youths should know that it is their future the government of president Tinubu is destroying. No young man or woman can thrive in a country where tyranny is celebrated as a substitute to democracy, and criminals are celebrated as heroes.
It is obvious that president Tinubu and his ruling APC are banking on the public institutions vested with the conduct of elections, i.e, INEC, security agencies and the Judiciary to subvert the process of credible elections. I plead with Nigerians, particularly the youths to get ready to take their destiny in their own hands and be committed to the doctrine of democracy which stipulates that during and after the 2027 general elections, nobody will be a Councillor of a Ward, a Vice- Chairman of a Local Government, a Chairman of a Local Government,a member of a State House of Assembly, a member of the House of the House of Representatives, a Senator, a deputy governor of a State, a governor of a State, a Vice- president of Nigeria and a President of Nigeria without the mandate of the electorates freely given in a free and fair election.
