Birthday: Edo NUJ Felicitates With Former Chairman, Okhiria

A former chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Edo State Council, Sir Raphael Okhiria, has received a congratulatory message from the leadership of the union on his birthday.

In a statement co-signed by Comrade Amb Festus Alenkhe JP, FSGI and Comrade Andy Egbon, Chairman and Secretary of the council respectively, Sir Okhiria was described as a man of excellence.

The statement stated that, “as a chairman of the Edo State Council of the NUJ, you made great landmark contributions to the development of the union.

“We see you as a leader per excellence who has paid his dues in the journalism profession.

“The leadership and members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Edo State Council felicitate with you, Deacon Ralph Okhiria as you mark your birthday today, 27th day of March, 2024”, they said.

The NUJ leadership used the privilege to pray for the celebrant who was a special adviser, to former Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly. He’s current the Chairman of the Association of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria, ACNPN.

“While wishing you and your family many fruitful years on earth, we also pray God Almighty to grant you the grace to live a happy and fulfilled life”, the NUJ leaders prayed.

Meanwhile, the birthday committee of the Festus Alenkhe Movement, FAM, has designed a video slide in honour of the versatile leader, Sir Okhiria, wishing him a beautiful birthday and as well showing a multitude of love on such an auspicious day.
