Leberty American Leadership Academy: A New Era In Nigerian Education

With great fanfare, Leberty American Leadership Academy (LALA), has officially opened its doors to the public on the 27th July 2024. The highly anticipated grand opening ceremony marked a significant milestone in Benin City, Edo State and Nigeria’s educational landscape.

LALA is a state-of-the-art educational institution dedicated to providing world-class leadership training and academic excellence to students from nursery to secondary school levels. The academy’s mission is to nurture future leaders, equip them with the skills, knowledge, and character necessary to drive positive change in their communities and beyond.

A goodwill message from the Royal Father of the Day, HRH Chief Henry Osato Bazuaye JP, advised the institution to prove what they represent as LALA to be one of the best school in Nigeria, saying the institution should bring the evidence of the system of America education to reflect in the life of the students.

The institution’s Proprietor, Aigbe Leberty, expresses his joy for seeing his dream comes through, noting that the school is established to bring all it take and obtainable in American institutions here at home.

According to him, the location of the school is to ensure equal opportunity for all and not just the rich alone, saying that Admissions are now open to the public for the 2024/2025 academic session.

“We are thrilled to bring this vision to life in Benin City. Our goal is to raise a generation of leaders who will shape the future of Nigeria and the world.” Dr. Nosa Aigbe Leberty.

Also speaking at the ceremony, Mrs. Ganiyatu Uwaifo, representing the Deputy Governor Eng. Marvelous Omabayo, said it is was heart-warming to put up the structure to enhance education in the state, which she said has an environment that is unique for learning.

She further stated that Edo Best has become a model and outstanding in educational activities in the state.

The sprawling campus boasts modern infrastructure, including Well-equipped classrooms and laboratories, Advanced technology integration, Sports facilities and recreational areas, Library and resource center.

LALA offers a comprehensive curriculum, including: American-style education with international standard, Leadership development programmes, Extracurricular activities, clubs, etc.

The opening ceremony was attended by esteemed guests, including: Mrs. Ganiyatu Uwaifo representing the Deputy Governor, Engr Marvelous Omobayo, Professor Aduwa Ogiegbaen, the Enogie of Ogbeson, Hon. Charity Iguodala Aiguobaruekhia,Human Right Activist Barr. Osagie Jude Esewoiya, Rev. Kingsley Ihator, Mrs Roselin Aigbewoina, and other renowned educationalists.
