EndSars Protest: Looters Threatening Business Owner In Benin City

A Benin City based business woman, Mrs Ese Ibuje, has called on the Nigeria Police Force, to come to her aid as suspected protesters who invaded and looted her shop recently in Benin City, have been threatening her life.

She alleged that during the Endsars protest, some youths invaded her shop and carted away goods worth millions of Naira.

Mrs Ibuje who deals on expensive jewelleries and other household items, alleged that the looters also went away with huge cash in different currencies.

She said some of the looters she could identity when they invaded her shop, who are now at large have been sending her different threat text messages and calls, threatening to eliminate her if she reports the incident to the police.

The woman stated that due to the life threatening messages and calls, she has gone into hiding leaving her house and business in the state, alleging that the suspected assailants have remained on her trail from state to state in the country

Mrs. Ibuje, further disclosed that her life and that of her family members are in serious danger and appealed for law enforcement agents for protection, saying that some members of her family have petitioned the law enforcement agents in Abuja to step into the matter.
