Hon Scott Ogbemudia, Chairman Ovia North East Local Government has lauded Governor, Godwin Obaseki, for his Agro-preneurship drive in the State.
Hon. Scott made the remark when he and his counterpart from Ovia South West, Hon. Destiny Enabulele we on an inspection exercise to the FADAMA 111 rice project located in the two Local Government Areas.
The Chairman who noted that the Governor’s commitment to developing the agricultural sector in the State is worth emulating.
“The commitment of His Excellency, to Agricultural sector in the State is second to non which is why we at the grassroots level are determined to compliment his efforts by domesticating all of his policies in our localities.”
On his part, the Chairman of Ovia South West, Hon. Destiny Enabulele reiterated his desire to ensure that the rice project benefits his people, nothing that for the governor to have paid the counterpart fund which is an eligibility criterium for participation of the FADAMA 111 project is a clear show of the governor’s desire to uplift the living standed of the people in the State.
FADAMA 111 is a 280 hectares of rice field is located in parts of Ovia North East and Ovia South West Local Government Areas.
