Deadly Fight Over Ownership Of Land: Police Declare Johnbull Eranga Missing

The Nigeria Police Force, Edo State Command, has declared missing, one Mr. Johnbull Eranga of Unuwazi-Uromi community, Edo State.

This was contained in a statement signed by the state police command’s Public Relations Officer (P.R.O.), Mr. Stanley Osifo, a Deputy Superintendent of Police.

According to the Police statement, and made available to the media, including The RELIANCE, Mr. Johnbull Eranga was last seen on 8th November, 2015, after a deadly fight between Unuwaizi-Uromi community, and that of Ujabhole, which claimed lives including the parents and younger brother of Johnbull Eranga.

It was revealed that the deadly fight was as a result of land disputes between the two communities.

It was also gathered that the parents of Johnbull Eranga had the documents of the disputed land, so Ujabhole community had to look for ways to eliminate all members of the family so as to pave way for them to take possession of the disputed land.

By successfully killing Johnbull’s parents, Johnbull was their next target, so as to avert social justice. They were said to have made frantic efforts to eliminate him (Mr. Johnbull Eranga).

The Nigeria Police however claimed that investigation was still on going about his whereabouts whether dead or alive, adding that any useful information about the whereabouts of Mr. Johnbull Eranga, should be reported to the nearest police station for a handsome reward.
