Secret Cult Membership Inheritance: Travails Of Dennis Eguabor

By Samuel Aigbe
Uncountable Nigerian children have been known to have inherited and are still and will obviously continue to inherit the property of their late parents and relatives.
This has happened again and again. But for one Mr. Dennis Osaghae Eguabor, an Esan by tribe, whose case was different. His, was not the issue of inheriting landed property, but rather that of inheriting the secret cult position that his mother, now very old once occupied.
The Reliance investigation revealed that Dennis Eguabor was born in May, 1972, in Benin City, Capital of Edo State. He had an influential mother, Mrs. Agnes Eguabor who was one of the senior leaders of the dreaded Ogboni fraternity.
As a supposed good mother, she used her high connection to secure a plum job for her son (Dennis) at the prestigious Shell Petroleum Development Company (NPDC).
Dennis joy, obviously knew no bound for securing such a well paid job, unknown to him that his mother must initiate one of her male children as being part of her required obligation when she was being initiated and now that she is very old, she must fulfill that obligation for her male child to take over the position she once held.
It was learnt that Dennis mother was very much aware of this hence her pressure to make sure he join the group since it was through the same OGBONI she got the financial services that helped her son through his school.
It was also gathered that Dennis was made to understand from his late uncle that OGBONI FRATERNITY is very deadly and that when any member refuses to fulfill any of their agreed requirements during initiation.
But being a practicing Christian, Dennis reportedly rejected the offer but this was not to be as the cult group vehemently warned him of dire consequences should he not present himself for initiation.
It is a well-known fact that the Ogboni cult is not a group that can be toyed with because the members always get what they wanted and when they wants it, leveraging on their spiritual powers and high influence in all strata of the Nigerian society.
Therefore, Mr. Dennis has been having a running battle with his family, particularly his mother who has sworn to use everything in her power to force her son into the Ogboni cult group.
It was learnt that the pressure to join the cult group had made Dennis to run away from home on several occasions.
Curiously, as at the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of Mr. Dennis Osaghae Eguabor is unknown, though there is an unconfirmed report that Dennis may have fled the country to escape the death threats issued him by members of the deadly secret society.
