We’ll Resist Attempts To Dethrone Any Of Us – Delta Traditional Rulers

Traditional rulers in Delta State, have vowed to resist any attempt to dethrone any of them illegally by any person or group of persons.
The Delta royal fathers in a three-point communiqué at the end of their meeting in Asaba, capital of Delta State insisted that they were prepared to fight and defend the cause of any of their members who may be facing dethronement problem.
Chairman of the traditional rulers, Dr. Emmanuel Efeizomor II, who read the communiqué, condemned in strong terms what they regarded as “unprovoked attack” on them by some influential persons in the state.
While noting that such acts will no longer be tolerated by them, the Delta Monarchs, alleged that some members of their kingdoms are always in the habit of either inciting or mobilizing members of the society against the monarchs.
They alleged that such influential people were always quick in making trouble with the monarchs in Delta State when their (influential people) requests are not given express approval.
The royal fathers further stated that on their part, they will continue to conduct themselves with decorum, dignity and respect befitting of their status, even as they endeavour to live above board and be transparent in handling the affairs of their kingdoms.
