A Benin based human rights activist and the President of One Love Foundation, Mr. Patrick Eholor has described both Obaseki and Oshiomhole’s misunderstanding as a sign of failure in governance.
He made this statement while speaking with journalists in Benin City.

On the Edo State House of Assembly issue, the social critic said it was wrong for the Members-elect to have abandoned their duties thereby causing deservice to their various constituencies.
On Benin Storm Water project, Patrick Eholor alleged that since Governor Obaseki’s firm served as consultant to the state government in securing the project, it would be better for him to excuse himself from the matter.
He however, said it was proper for the Governor to have continued with the project as a successor.
He alleged that the governor never came out to sympathise with recent flood victims in the state personally as he always delegate his Media Adviser, Crusoe Osagie for such duty.
He disclosed that he has quit partisan politics in order to concentrate to the service of God Almighty. “I want to accept God, feel Him and do all that is necessary to be close to Him in the rest of my life”.
