Oshiomhole Does Not Have Respect For Educated People – Obaseki

The Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has revealed that his predecessor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, does not have any respect for educated people.
Governor Obaseki stated that for obvious reasons, the former Edo State governor and sacked national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), always have preference for uneducated people, rather than the educated ones.
The governor also disclosed that his precessor in office did not have a development plan for the State during his tenure.
Comrade Adams Oshiomhole was governor of Edo State between 2008 and 2016, while Mr. Godwin Obaseki was the chairman of the state’s economic team and strategy.
Obaseki stated this during his ongoing Ward-to-Ward campaign in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of the State.
According to Governor Obaseki, “Anybody that does not have a project plan cannot be a successful governor.
“The people we took over from had no plan. They wake up in the morning and say I want to flag-off that road. There is no plan.
Addressing PDP members and supporters in Ward 9 of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, Obaseki berated the former Labour leader over what he called lack respect for educated people and Benin people.
“Oshiomhole has no respect for educated and Benin people. Somebody you said was not good yesterday, you went to bring him to rule over us?
“Somebody that did not go school is asking for the Certificate of somebody that went to University. Can you imagine that? No wonder, all his friends are those people who didn’t go to school. He hates Educated people with passion. He only draws closer to them when he wants something from them.
He, further alleged plot by the main opposition party in the state to rig the forthcoming election by causing violence to undermine the credibility of the poll.
“They are planning to write result, they want to use federal might to rig the election, that is why they are not campaigning.
“It is God and the people that will put them to shame even though they are shameless.
“Of all the incidents of violence in Edo State, show me the one that PDP committed. But, I have told my supporters not to retaliate. They are not more than us”, he said.
Obaseki therefore urged eligible voters in Ikpoba-Okha to vote for PDP and defend their votes, alleging that allowing miscreants (Agbero’s) and members of the outlawed Community Development Associations (CDA’s) to control power in Edo State.
