The PDP leader and formidable founder said the new of officers are poised to change the narratives of the party and the country.
“You are aware that this is no more a country. Everyone is afraid if we can see 2022.
“Agitations everywhere is caused by bad governance which I think the new PDP leaders will do their best to amend.
“Any state chapter of the party with acrimony should try and resolve them. But those at the national level will be resolved and settled”, he said.
As for zoning the national championship to the North Central, he spoke on the possibility of the north also featuring the presidential candidate.
“I hate hiding my feelings. When this question of NIN came up, I saw it as a way Buhari want to nationalise non Nigerians. If you check our villages now, we have more northerners and foreigners living in our villages.”, he said.
Speaking on the problem in the state chapter of the PDP, Owere Imasogie urged Governor Godwin Obaseki to tow the line of peace for unity and tranquility to reign in the party.
“The PDP leader in Edo state should do what is right for there to be unity in the party. He knows that the position of a state party leader does not have any defined constitutional functions. It’s just a glorified position. Therefore, my candid advice to him is that he should do the needful and should not rock the boat”, Owere Imasogie added..
