A real estate giant in Nigeria, D Prince Builders and Estate Developers Limited, has trained interested individuals on the nitty-gritty of the real estate investment.
The training, according to the Managing Director of the estate company, Mr. Cyril Omoregie, is part of efforts to address housing deficit in the country as well as reduce poverty, real estate giant,
Mr. Omoregie observed that the training was also necessitated by the need to train beneficiaries of D Prince Builder’s monthly support on the need to make money for themselves especially through real estate.
“Before now, first of every month has been a day set aside by D Prince Builders to assist the less privileged and widows; we always give them bags of rice. We found out that each month that we do this; it’s always the same persons that came last month that will also come this month. We say no, let us see how we can impact knowledge to them, so that is why we decided that we are going to suspend the sharing of rice this period.
“What we want to do is a master class whereby we can educate the masses about real estate; teach them when to invest, how to invest, where to invest and how to raise capital for this investment,” Mr. Omoregie stated.
The Nigeria’s foremost real estate developer encouraged Nigerians to make wealth for themselves in the real estate sector by buying land and allowing it to appreciate before selling.
Mr. Omoregie, disclosed that his company pays 2.5% commission to agent for any transaction done in Edo State and 5% commission for transaction in Lagos and Abuja.
He added that anyone who refers a customer would get the sum of twenty thousand naira for per plot of land.
But participants at the training including Mr. Obano Imaren, Hon. Christopher Ordia and Pastor Joshua Orumgbe, commended Mr. Cyril Omoregie for organizing the training for them without collecting a dime.
They described the training as an eye opener, noting that they are now in a better position to venture into real estate as the training has widened their knowledge about the sector.
Similarly, due to the unrelenting contributions to job creation, education, economic growth and building intellectual leaders, the Managing Director of D Prince Builders and Estate Developers Limited, Mr. Cyril Omoregie has been honoured with an award by the Youth Advancement Initiative.
Responding after receiving the prestigious award, the elated Mr. Omoregie thanked the Youths Advancement Initiative for the honour done him and dedicated the award to members of his team.
