Senator Neda Imasuen Embarks On Constituency Tour

The Distinguished Senator representing Edo South Senatorial District in Edo State, Senator Neda Imasuen, has been honoured with an award by the Ohen (Priest) of Iyanomo, High Priest A. N. Uwague Idehen.

Mr. Uwague Evans who presented the award to the distinguished senator on the instruction of the Ohen who was physically present with his cabinet and the entire members of the community, at
the short ceremony in his palace.

According to the Ohen, the award was in recognition of Senator Imasuen’s constant contribution, participation, and accessibility to all.

Receiving the award, the member of the Red Chamber at the National Assembly, Senator Neda Imasuen, said he was humbled and overwhelmed by the prestigious award.

He assured the award will further spur him to do more for the people, saying that to whom much is given, more is required. He further promised to be a worthy representative of the district by ensuring that his constituents are not short changed in anyway in the scheme of things.

“I want to assure you and all the good people of Edo South Senatorial District that I’m fully ready and committed to doing my very best to ensuring that my constituents gets the best any representative can give and attract worthy constituency projects and the dividends of democracy to the people,” the senator posited.

Recall that Senator Neda Imasuen, penultimate week embarked on a community tour, visiting various constituents and communities, showcasing his dedication and commitment to their well-being and development.

Senator Imasuen’s first visit was to the Enogie of Ehor, His Royal Highness, David Ehigiamusoe Igiehon, at his palace in Ehor, the Ohen of Azagba, Chief Nosakhare Ogieriakhi, at his palace in Azagba, and Iyanomo, a vibrant and historic town in the heart of Edo State.

He was warmly received by the Ohen of Iyanomo, High Priest A. N. Uwague Idehen, Crown Prince, Osama Desmond, Princess Mrs. Victoria Uwague (the great-granddaughter of Oba Eweka of blessed memory), and other esteemed elders and members of the community.
