Edo Guber: APC Inaugurates Its Election Campaign Team

The All Progressives Congress (APC), has officially inaugurated its gubernatorial election campaign team in Benin City.

The Edo State Governorship election is slated to hold on September 21, 2024.

The Party’s Director General of the party’s campaign council, Pharm Sen. Matthew Urhoghide, used the auspicious occasion to unveil the party’s Governorship candidate and his running mate, Senator Monday Okpebholo and Hon. Denis Idahosa.

Senator Urhoghide, asserted that the party has been repositioned to retake the political affairs of the state from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Some of the APC Chieftains that were present at the event included Senator Adam Oshiomhole, former deputy governor of the State, RT Hon. Dr. Pius Odubu, Gen.Charles Arhiabhere retd, former party’s Chairman Col. David Imuse Retd, Dr Lucky Imasuen, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the State’s acting chairman of the party, Mr Jarret Tenebe and a host of others.

Some defectors to the party who were present in the occasion, expressed their happiness and willingness to work for the party to ensures that the party emerge as the winner and produce the next governor of the state come September 2024.

According to the State Publicity Secretary, Dr. Lawrence Okah who corroborated on the statement earlier made by the APC Campaign DG who declared that with the massive turnout of the party members, their victory is total and imminent.

High point of the ceremony was the official inauguration of 36 campaign directorates with different committees alongside their chairmen and members with different tasks and responsibilities.
