Oba Of Benin Worships In Pentecostal Church After 3 Yrs On Throne

Recently, precisely on December 22, 2019, the revered Benin Monarch, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, worshipped at the New Covenant Gospel Church, Benin City.
The Benin Royal Father was received to the church by the General Superintendent of the church, Rev. Dr. Felix Omobude who stressed the need for holiness and service to mankind.
Omobude who is also the National President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), commended the Oba for coming to the church to worship the almighty and true God who He described as the King of kings who is worthy of worship by all human beings, irrespective of their status.
Also speaking, Oba Ewuare II expressed joy that he was fellowshipping with the parishioners of the New Covenant Gospel Church in Benin City.
He disclosed that since his ascension to the Throne three years ago, the church was the first Pentecostal church in the entire world that he was stepping his royal feet into.
The Oba of Benin Commended the leadership and members of the church for their steadfastness in the worship of God who created the heaven and earth.
Highpoint of the visit was the presentation of a copy of the Holy Bible to the visiting Oba Ewuare II by Dr. Omobude while the Oba on his part made cash donations to the church.
